"Eggs to the Mill", is a charity fundraising event, which peaks at Easter every year with the huge ride out from our base at Rotherham Road, New Houghton, through Mansfield Town centre and then on to Kings Mill Hospital.
Last years event was a huge success with over 150 riders of classic Lambretta and Vespa scooters, taking part in the ride out. (This year we are expecting in the region of 300 weather permitting)
The event raises much needed money for the Kings Mill Neonatal unit with provides intensive care for new born and pre-mature babies. The funds are raised through a raffle, with prizes donated from private individuals and businesses. We also deliver a number of Easter eggs for the hospital to distribute throughout the children’s ward and to children visiting relatives or siblings.
